I just got this email, re. a prophecy made by a Mr. Jucelino Nobrega da Luz, a Brazilian who successfully predicted, among other things, the death of Princess Diana, the fall of the World Trade Center in New York and the Christmas Tsunami.
Let’s call him Mr. Juicy.
Apparently, the following are some of his predictions for 2008:
- On July 18, the Philippines will suffer an 8.1 massive earthquake, leading to a massive death toll.
- In September, the Empire State Building in NY will suffer a terrorist attack.
- On September 13, China will be hit (again) by a massive 9.1 earthquake, originating from Nanling and Hainan Island, creating tsunamis of 30 meters or more, leading to a massive death toll. Such tsunamis could well travel right up to Japan.
If you know your Chinese geography (unlike me), Hainan Island is off the southern coast of China, at about the same latitude as northern Vietnam.
Hong Kong is on the south east coast of China.
I don’t know where Nanling is, but the idea of the email is:
LEAVE HONG KONG BEFORE SEPT. 13 OR YOU WILL EITHER BE CRUSHED BY CRUMBLING BUILDINGS OR DROWNED BY A MASSIVE TSUNAMI.
Erm, small, but uh, possibly important question…are Hong Kong buildings earthquake proof?
Tsunami proof? (Can anything actually be tsunami-proof?)
Well, while we think about that, let’s see whether an earthquake will hit the Philippines 2 weeks from now, and then we’ll think about it some more….
